About the role

How will I help? The performance consultant is responsible for partnering with business leaders and HR to identify and qualify performance gaps, design and implement performance management strategies, and drive organisational effectiveness. They leverage systems thinking to understand the organisations business strategy, analyse performance data, and inform capability development solutions that align with and support the achievement of strategic objectives.  Key objectives of this position include: 

  • Identifying performance needs 
  • Analyse performance gaps 
  • Inform and collaborate in the design of solutions addressing identified gaps 
  • Oversee the quality of initiatives aligned to organisational needs 
  • Evaluate effectiveness aligned to performance requirements

  What do I need? To be successful in this position you will have a bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant fields such as Education, Training and Development, Organisational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. It will be highly desirable to have experience in learning and development, instructional design, performance consulting or related roles and it would be beneficial to have experience working in diverse organisational settings and industries.  The below skills and experience are necessary for the position: 

  • Knowledge of Learning Theories and Practices. A solid understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies and learning technologies is essential for designing effective learning solutions
  • Strong knowledge of performing consulting frameworks and methodologies. 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Proven stakeholder management, problem solving and critical thinking ability 
  • Project management experience
