As a lead data analyst, you will collaborate with multiple Lines of Business to identify opportunities for leveraging data, advancing the organisation’s data agenda, and mitigating risks within the UNITE program. You’ll manage data governance activities, ensuring appropriate controls are in place while driving data change initiatives and delivering key insights on customer impacts. Additionally, you’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide training to promote best practices in data risk management and governance as it relates to UNITE programs of delivery.
This role primarily co-ordinates data provision, data assessment and data assurance activities across Data Engineering, Data Modelling, Data Architecture and Data Migration to support UNITE program execution in the Chief Data Office (CDO) within the Consumer Division (CD).
You’re responsible and accountable for:
- Developing and maintaining a stakeholder matrix to map out all information consumers within the organization.
- Documenting data flows, including data lineage, reports, and user-defined applications.
- Creating a data profiling report that identifies Critical Data Elements, Group Records, privacy-related data and other information critical to effective profiling of data
- Defining key attributes to label customer cohorts affected by the UNITE program, advising on customer experience across programs.
- Collaborating with technology teams and impacted Lines of Business to provide data treatment recommendations.
- Building and implementing controls to measure the effectiveness of data treatment recommendations.
- Developing dashboards to share key information on customer cohorts, benefit analysis, and data assurance outcomes with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensuring high-quality data governance processes across the Consumer UNITE program to maintain data integrity.
- Participating in data domain councils and forums, providing insights on data management activities and the impacts of UNITE programs.
- Developing and maintain a reporting mechanism to communicate progress and insights on data governance and management activities.

This includes leave to organise adoptions, surrogacy, and foster care arrangements. What do I need?
- Proven experience in data governance, risk management, or data quality across multiple applications and data warehouses
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
- Experience with data profiling, data lineage documentation, and dashboard/report development.
