How you will make an impact  The Test Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test strategies to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce/ServiceNow applications and integrated solutions including B2B integrations.

Day to day you will:  Carry out test strategy and planning:

  • Develop and document comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Identify test requirements from specifications and ensure test coverage aligns with project goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria for Salesforce features or enhancements.

Carry out test execution:

  • Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) of Servicenow.
  • Execute manual and automated test scripts, ensuring consistency with test plans.
  • Record, track, and manage defects using testing tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Conduct specialized testing for Salesforce configurations, workflows, custom objects, integrations, and FinancialForce modules such as Accounting, PSA, and Billing Central.

Collaborate and communicate:

  • Work closely with Salesforce developers and administrators to understand project requirements and resolve any ambiguities.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on test progress, defects, and overall software quality to stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Skills & Qualifications 

  • 1 year ServiceNow experience
  • Salesforce or Certinia experience strongly desired
  • 2 years testing experience.
  • A tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline
  • Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Provar, Selenium WebDriver for Salesforce, or similar frameworks.
  • A good understanding of Application development lifecycle
  • A good understanding of data flow, CMDB and CSDM
