About the role

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Officer plays an important role in ensuring risks related to the provision of medical services in a virtual healthcare setting are being effectively managed. The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for performing regular reviews of business practices and data to check compliance measures and controls are operating effectively. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing the quality and safety of our clinic’s services.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Review customer interactions and feedback to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Provide real-time compliance performance insights to senior management.
  • Maintain expertise in regulatory requirements and telehealth risks.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with the Quality Lead.
  • Assist with legal matters and third-party information requests.
  • Conduct regular audits and provide recommendations.
  • Track and report on key compliance and risk metrics.
  • Support senior management with compliance reporting and insights.
  • Deliver on individual and departmental OKRs & KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in compliance and risk, preferably in healthcare or clinical settings.
  • Experience with quality assurance frameworks, ideally in healthcare or telehealth.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks effectively.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker in risk management.
  • Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary settings.
  • Skilled in prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with investigations and corrective actions.
  • Project management and coordination expertise.
  • Qualifications in health, health sciences, or related field highly regarded.
