About the Role

Take on the dynamic role of a Risk Analyst (Line 1) and become essential in supporting our Management and Risk team in navigating risks in the Business Banking Division. Your expertise will be key in managing risk and control activities, administering risk events, and developing treatment plans. You'll support projects and change initiatives through risk assessments and process analysis while fostering strong stakeholder relationships. In this role, you'll consult with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line Operational Risk and Compliance teams, provide risk support to line 1 Business teams, and engage with various stakeholders within the BOQ Group. Your analytical skills will be challenged as you make decisions guided by policies and solve complex problems.

About you

Join our team with your enthusiasm and passion for risk management! We're looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of non-financial risk management in the financial services industry. You should excel in MS Excel and Word, be able to analyse and interpret complex data, and have impeccable attention to detail. If you love solving problems and building relationships across different areas and levels of the organisation, then this role is perfect for you. Familiarity with banking legislation and a keen interest in deepening your risk management knowledge are essential. While a tertiary qualification in risk management, law, business, or finance, and experience in a Non-Financial Risk role are highly desirable, your enthusiasm and analytical skills will set you apart.
