About the role

About the Role Our National Clients & Markets communications team is made up of a dynamic group of marketing and communication professionals who are passionate about the development and execution of strategies and activities to promote and enhance the BDO brand and meet the needs of our clients.

We are currently sourcing a proactive Communications Coordinator to work within our Clients & Markets team, you can be based in our Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth office. Working as part of a team, this position will be responsible for providing support in managing the communications and marketing-related activities and outcomes for a number of our service lines and industry groups. You’ll be recognised and valued within a supportive team and have the flexibility to work from home and in the office.

Key responsibilities The priorities and focus areas of this position are as follows:

  • Work as part of a service team to develop and manage internal and external communication projects and programs for leaders and key stakeholders of identified areas of the firm
  • Support the development and delivery of specific service lines and industry group’s strategies and associated activities
  • Identify and publish internal and external communication materials aligned with the firm’s and Clients & Markets’ strategy
  • Work to promote the smooth function of the team through the conduct of key operational tasks

Additionally, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, public relations or similar
  • 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role (in a partnership structure/professional services business would be desirable)
  • The ability to develop rapport at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • High-level interpersonal and written communication skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • The ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
