We’re seeking a visionary Engineering Manager to spearhead the development of our cutting-edge data platform. As the Engineering Manager for the Data Platform, you will:
- Lead and Innovate: Oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of a scalable, robust data platform supporting alternative health research, patient care, and operational efficiencies.
- Lead a Team of Stars: Lead, mentor, and guide a talented team of Data Platform Engineers and Software Engineers in a collaborative, innovative environment.
- Collaborate for Impact: Partner with product managers, data specialists, and other stakeholders to translate complex business needs into seamless data solutions.
- Drive Excellence: Architect and design a high-performance data platform with unmatched availability, scalability, and security.
- Ensure Integrity: Implement data governance frameworks that prioritize compliance, data privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Stay Cutting-Edge: Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging tools and technologies to enhance the platform’s performance and capabilities.
Qualifications
- Leadership Mastery: A proven track record of managing technical teams, fostering collaboration, and inspiring innovation.
- Technical Expertise: Deep experience in data engineering, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), big data technologies, ELT processes, Python, SQL, and data warehousing.
- SDLC Proficiency: Software engineering background (NestJS or NodeJS), Typescript (front and back) with hands-on knowledge of the software development lifecycle for data products, including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and best coding practices.
- Problem-Solving Savvy: The ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and healthcare data regulations.
