What You’ll Do Product & Technology - Software Engineering & IT develops and maintains Telstra's software and IT systems, working on some really cutting-edge technologies.
As the Staff Software Engineer of Security Solution Design you will Influence and oversee the cloud environment DevSecOps project lifecycle. Develop practical, scalable and reusable cloud infrastructure security solutions.
Mentor security champions program members to develop security mindset amongst engineering teams.
Build tooling to automate deployment and observability tasks. Essential Skills and Technology experience:
- Understanding of cloud security best practices (identity, access control, secret management, observability)
- Core cloud services (IAM, compute, storage, networking, monitoring, functions, Logic Apps, KeyVault)
- Experience in DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code)
- Experience with container orchestration services (AKS, Kubernetes)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc)
