The successful applicant will be a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable software solutions. You will excel in translating customer needs into innovative products and capabilities, leveraging your deep technical expertise in software application layer solutions. Continuous learning mindset, collaboration, and influencing skills are critical to success. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Microsoft D ynamics 365 Finance and Operations, you must have extensive experience as an individual contributor in the Supply Chain Management (SCM), Retail and Commerce, and Human Resource modules. The role involves fixing production technical issues and hardware problems in production stores, creating and installing retail packages and hardware station packages, and performing end-to-end activities for store migration in production environments. You will work on implementations and upgrades in Dynamics 365 F&O and APTOS POS applications, and must be well-versed in the Software Development Lifecycle, including requirement analysis, development, unit testing, functional testing, production cutover activities, go-live activities, and support. Responsibilities will also include collaborating with business analysts, functional experts, and work stream leads for requirement gathering, technical design, and development.

- Collaboration: Works closely with Technical Product Owners to understand business requirements and brainstorm technical solutions.
- Implementation: Partners with solution engineers to implement practical solutions.
- Microservices Architecture: Designs, develops, and deploys business functionality within a microservices framework.
- API Development: Creates and updates APIs, ensuring they meet business requirements and conform to engineering standards.
- Documentation: Maintains comprehensive interface documentation, including Swagger specs and functional specs.
- Resilient Solutions: Develops cloud-native, self-healing solutions.
- DevOps: Actively participates in CI/CD, test automation, support, and monitoring functions.
- Security: Ensures APIs are secure by design.
About you
To be successful in the role, you'll bring skills and experience in:
- Integration Platforms: Expertise in API design/management, secure managed file transfers, enterprise service buses, and ETL capabilities.
- Design Patterns: Proficient in SOA, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Integration Technologies: Skilled in REST, SOAP, ETL, and APIs.
- Web Services and API Standards: Strong knowledge of standards and design principles.
- Systems Integration Documentation: Experienced in creating and maintaining interface and functional specs.
- Microsoft Dynamics: Extensive development experience with Dynamics AX 2012 and Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Commerce Platform: Implementation, customizations, and integrations with Dynamics Commerce platform.
- Payment Integration: Experience with PSP integration with D365 F&O.
- Lifecycle Services: Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS).
