About the role

The Opportunity - About the Role We are seeking a dedicated PMO/Program Coordinator to support a key strategic program aimed at embedding operational excellence, enabling business growth, and supporting customer outcomes. This role provides comprehensive support in delivery, governance, reporting, and resourcing at both workstream and program levels for a consolidated portfolio view

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Project Coordination: Provide hands-on project coordination for workstreams and gain project management experience on small components within a delivery stream
  • Tracking & Reporting: Support workstream leads and project leadership in tracking and reporting on delivery progress, financial status, risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions.
  • Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive plans covering tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Administrative Support: Identify, implement, and maintain efficient administrative support to workstreams and the program. Streamline tasks to minimise overhead and improve information transparency.
  • Meeting Coordination and support: Meeting organisation, preparation of meeting materials, distribute materials, prepare minutes, and follow up on actions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date program and workstream documentation, including project plans and progress reports.
  • Presentations & Templates: Prepare professional presentations, maintain document templates and version control, and manage document distribution. Maintain training information for onboarding and continuous improvements.
  • Program governance, risk and compliance – design, develop and implement required program governance, work alongside Group Risk to adopt and embed risk management practices, undertake program compliance activities as required

  About You To be successful in this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment. This multifaceted role will give you the opportunity to engage with multiple workstreams within the program, including Change, External Consultants, People and Culture, Risk, Finance, and direct engagement with the business. You will have the opportunity to engage across a broad range of business stakeholders, including leadership.

In addition you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience

  • Previous PMO or Program Coordination or Analyst experience ideally within a large-scale strategic program.
  • Excellent planning, analysis and communication skills
  • Excellent administrative skills, coupled with a general understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies.
  • Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Ability to prioritise and use initiative.
  • Software Proficiency (preferred but not essential): Understanding and experience with project management/ reporting software such as Smart Sheets, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
