About the role
About you: You are an experienced Business Analyst with 3 or more years of experience with requirement gathering, modelling and process improvement and experience in a software development environment. You will have been working on high-volume B2B and B2C web and mobile applications, whilst identifying customer needs and developing solutions. Having prior experience in developing payment products would be an advantage. Experience with API integration and in an Agile/SCRUM development environment well regarded. Exposure to or experience in the Real Estate/Property industry is advantageous but not essential.
**About the Role: **
- Work within the product management team to deliver and improve the product
- Work with PM’s to coordinate and control the writing/re-writing of feature specifications
- Having prior experience in developing payment products would be an advantage
- Exposure to API integration well regarded
- Gather requirements from internal and external sources and participate in requirements elicitation workshops
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, process workflows, sequence/state transition diagrams and user stories
- Work with Product Managers and Product Designers during discovery to define scope and validate mockups
- Collaborate with Product Managers on product backlog refinement and take ownership of refinement and sprint planning activities
- Have the chance to wear multiple hats and stretch into different areas
- Collaborate to prioritise key features considering complexity, business needs and user pain points
- Conduct gap/feasibility analysis and make recommendations to the business
- Liaise with third-party providers regarding integrations with their products and services, eg: portals, banks, franchisors, utilities, industry consultants, technology partners
- Perform internal product demonstrations and training and take internal queries regarding 'how to' issues, product clarification
- Understand competitors' product/service offerings to ensure market leadership
- Other duties as required
