About the role
What this job involves We are looking for a smart, capable, and business savvy interior design professional to join our design services business in Australia.
This will be a hands-on role and would be ideal for someone looking to gain access to expand both their skill set and network. Fantastic communication skills are a must. The successful applicant will embrace working in a start-up like design studio culture, but with the support and resources of a Fortune 500 company with a significant project pipeline over several disciplines.
We are looking for a client facing Designer who is ready to step up and make a name for themselves.
- Work closely and support the Project Leader in presentations and delivery output.
- Prepare detailed design documentation in Revit
- High level overview of design across various sites to ensure best options presented back to our client. This involves putting our best foot forward and exploring all design options available.
- Continue sustainability learnings and implementation on all projects.
- Ability to self-manage time, projects and direct clients.
- All round project experience – from concept design through to construction documentation and on-site experience – demonstrated by portfolio of previous projects.
- Experience dealing directly with clients.
- Ability to prepare documentation in Revit in accordance with National Construction Code and relevant codes.
- Continue learning about sustainability and best practices for implementation within projects.
