The Legal team sits at the heart of Revolut and is a very important part of the business, helping us achieve our goals each and every day.

They're special, they're strong-willed, and they work across a lot of different areas. From providing support for our application to become a bank in Australia to advising on cutting-edge legal issues on innovative features, you'll join a team responsible for responding to high-priority, complex, and often time-sensitive challenges.

We're looking for a Company Secretary to develop and execute proactive strategies for managing our board and committees across Australia and New Zealand. You'll make sure we follow important legislation and regulations, keep board members informed of their legal responsibilities, and maintain company records.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing expert governance support to Revolut’s boards and committees in Australia and New Zealand, including the preparation of agendas, circulation of board and committee packs, and drafting of minutes
  • Influencing and communicating effectively at board and executive level, ensuring preparation of timely and high-quality board materials
  • Helping to ensure that processes are aligned across the Group 
  • Drafting board and shareholder resolutions 
  • Ensuring that statutory registers are kept and filings are made with ASIC

What you'll need

  • Up to 5 years of experience in a corporate secretarial role
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as law, business, or a professional company secretarial qualification
  • Solid team skills and the ability to build excellent relationships at executive level
  • Experience in board support with the ability to manage board and committee meetings
  • Knowledge of AU corporate governance requirements and the Corporations Act
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills 
  • Resilience and the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance entrepreneurial environment

    Conduct legal and factual research to collate findings, and inform business and legal decisions.

    Review laws and standards to implement, update and maintain the organization’s policies, standards, and procedures.

    Legal Advisory and Risk Management

    Advise on the whole spectrum of legal matters that apply to the business and its offerings.
