About the role

The Implementation Consultant plays a key role in our Customer Experience Delivery teams, responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the Employment Hero platform. This includes both HR and Payroll modules. As the primary contact for customers, you will guide them through the implementation process by gathering requirements, configuring the platform(s), and ensuring compliance with legislative standards.

You will ensure that both HR and payroll systems meet the requirements of Fair Work and National Employment Standards in Australia, as well as the corresponding legislative standards in New Zealand. You will also ensure that clients adhere to all relevant labour laws, providing guidance on compliance with payroll tax, leave entitlements, superannuation, and other statutory obligations. This is a permanent position and can be based anywhere in Australia.

This role is exciting! Many of our customers are not experts in Payroll and/or HR, but you will help and guide them through our interactive training process. You will be managing many portfolios at any one time, so to be successful in this role, you will need to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and prioritise tasks to drive great outcomes.

As we embark upon a transformation of our CX delivery function, we’ll need you, as our experienced Implementation Consultant, to be adept at managing change and stakeholder engagement, and to clearly communicate with our customers.

As an Implementation Consultant you will be responsible for:

  • End-to-End Implementation: Manage the implementation of both HR and Payroll platforms for clients, ensuring all solutions meet their specific needs.

  • Consultancy and Training: Serve as the main point of contact, delivering comprehensive training and best practice guidance for the HR and Payroll platforms.

  • System Configuration: Work with clients to gather requirements and configure their HR and payroll systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts, project coordinators, and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely delivery.

  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed analysis and provide recommendations to optimise the platform’s functionality to meet client expectations.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, focusing on high customer satisfaction and engagement.

  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure clients are educated on relevant HR and payroll legislation, such as Australian and New Zealand labour laws, and help them configure their platforms accordingly.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance our implementation processes to improve efficiency and client outcomes.

  • Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand HR/payroll legislation.

  • 2+ years of combined experience in HR or payroll implementation (highly desirable but not essential)

  • Exposure to other HR or payroll software and system configurations.
