The Role:
ConnectID is building a nation-wide identity ecosystem, partnering with major institutions to roll out a service that aims to become ubiquitous for all Australians. Identity Ecosystem Architect is responsible for implementing identity and ecosystem strategy, design new network capabilities, develop and maintain identity related ConnectID standards. This is no ordinary architect role, it’s a unique opportunity to shape Digital Identity developments in Australia. You’ll be working with some of the leading minds in identity in Australia, and alongside a crack team of technologists and designers. Proposed Role Responsibilities are:
- Upstream technical standards monitoring (OpenID Connect, OAuth, FAPI, OpenID4VC and many others).
- ConnectID profile development and maintenance to support existing and new network capabilities.
- Hand-on prototyping of new standards or new standards drafts.
- Developer and implementer support (internal, IDPs, RPs and other network and industry participants).
- Conformance testing design and development (where applicable)..
- Test results review and exemption handling.
- Accreditation team assistance.
- Assisting with new capabilities development (strategy and architecture, hands on prototyping).
- Assisting with enhancing trust and security within ConnectID ecosystem.
- Ecosystem and participants security and risk continuous review, feedback, risk mitigation.
Proposed Position Requirements are:
- Identity industry experience.
- Strong Developer experience (practical applications of identity) and understanding of industry standards utilised by ConnectID.
- Strong Architecture experience.
- Ability to influence through analytics and persuasive verbal and written communication.
- Experience dealing with senior stakeholders in large complex environments.
Advantageous:
- Experience gained from smaller organisations requiring role flexibility – a “roll sleeves up” mentality.
- Experience working in a large financial services or professional services environment.
- Domain expert knowledge in financial services/ payments.
- Ability to influence teams and make decisions that ultimately improve the product or solution.
