About the role
**The Opportunity: ** To provide technical analysis, design, development, and continuous delivery to Australian Payments Plus applications and services.
This is a 10-months max term role. Proposed Role Responsibilities are:
- Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors complex programs/scripts and integration software services.
- Contributes to the selection of the software development methods, tools and techniques.
- Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve well-engineered outcomes.
- Participates in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work.
- Enjoying working in high performance team using Agile methodologies
- Working with team members to achieve common goals
- Building up working knowledge of infrastructure and middleware
- Provide working software demos to the team and business stakeholders
**The capabilities we’re seeking are: **
- Over 3 years of varied experience in the IT industry
- Developing RESTFul APIs
- Developing build web applications using Java, Spring Framework and SpringBoot
- Experience in CI/CD automation (such as GitLab)
- Experience in Front End development framework such as Angular
- Experience in working with engineering in Agile environment
- Promoting productivity through automation, tools and best practices
- Knowledge in mainstream test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, postman
