About the Role
As our Global Facilities Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind creating an environment where our Campers can do their best work.
This role encompasses real estate planning, facilities operations, workplace experience, compliance, ESG strategies and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S). You will ensure our work environments are safe, compliant, and conducive to productivity, reflecting our culture and commitment to excellence.
From managing day-to-day facility operations to ensuring sustainability initiatives are in place, your work will shape how our offices feel and function. Whether it’s streamlining processes, supporting workplace safety, or championing a seamless hybrid work experience, your impact will be felt across our global hubs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee facilities operations across our 8 hub locations, ensuring workspaces are well-maintained, safe, and set up for success.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive** real estate strategy and management plan** that supports our growth, culture, and environmental goals. Identify, lease, and manage office spaces, ensuring they align with our long-term objectives and community engagement principles.
- Partner with People Experience, IT, and Workplace teams to create an inclusive, flexible, and engaging office environment. Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with third-party service providers and vendors.
- Manage vendor and lease/landlord relationships, from maintenance providers to office supply vendors, ensuring top-notch service and cost-effectiveness.
- Support sustainability efforts, ensuring our physical spaces align with our ESG commitments.
- Implement workplace safety policies, making sure our Campers have an environment where they feel supported and secure. Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Risk & Continuity Management: Identify, manage, and escalate risks and ensure business risk and continuity strategies are in place.
- Space Planning & Utilisation: Optimise space allocation and ensure efficient use of company facilities.
What We’re Looking For Must-Haves: Experience in **facilities operations or office management **within a dynamic, fast-paced environment managing maintenance services, refurbishments and relocations. Experience in facilities strategy development and execution: Ability to develop and execute strategies in collaboration with other teams, including People Experience, and aligning office operations with broader organizational objectives like growth, culture, and environmental goals Technical knowledge: A good understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.), maintenance procedures, and safety regulations. **Budgeting and financial management skills: **Demonstrated ability in managing budgets, controlling costs, and making financial decisions that benefit an organisation. Proactive problem-solving skills—when something goes wrong, you’re the first to jump in and find a solution. Ability to manage multiple vendors and stakeholders, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Flexibility and Adaptability: Given the global context, flexibility in managing offices in different timezones and adaptability to various regulatory and cultural environments. Additionally, able to work outside of office hours to support maintenance activities that cannot be conducted during normal business hours A proactive, service-oriented mindset, always looking for ways to make the workplace experience better for others.
Nice-to-Haves: Experience working in a tech or high-growth environment. Knowledge of health & safety regulations across multiple regions. Experience managing real estate across multiple regions. Passion for ESG, sustainability and employee experience, with a keen eye for improving how we work.
