Sitting within the Digital and Transformation Business Unit, the Engineering Team which sits within the Technology portfolio at hummgroup, are core to the success of the division. With a strong business focus on the technology portfolio, the Humm-group currently has several exciting opportunities for 3 QA Engineers. You will gain exposure to our suite of products and work with a team of like-minded and hard-working individuals that enjoy and have pride in what they do. Your career path could be varied, perhaps moving into our Senior Quality Assurance Engineer role, or perhaps getting experience in one of our other disciplines, such as Business Analysis, Development or Agile Practice. 

What Does An Average Day Look Like? No day is average at **humm **but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:

• Develop, maintain, and review manual and automation test plans, suites, and scripts.
• Conduct testing and QA activities on mobile apps, web solutions, APIs, business applications.
• Contribute to building and improving of test automation frameworks and artifacts.
• Provide test coverage across the product ecosystem.
• Review Business requirements and solution designs.
• Identify and manage the defect lifecycle and coordinate with stakeholders on resolutions.
• Define and execute performance testing and other non-functional aspects.
• Active involvement in adopting and improving Agile and QA best practices.

You will be someone who is an

• Expert in testing Web UI, mobile apps, APIs, complex web solutions and cloud application.
• Expert in automation testing and open-source tools (i.e. Karate, Selenium, Appium etc)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (i.e. Java, C#, groovy etc)
• Experience in database management and SQL scripting
• Experience in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Solid understanding of QA best practices and Agile testing techniques and concepts
• Positive attitude and agile mindset
• Team player with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.

 You will be highly regarded if you have experience in

• ** **Solid understanding of DevOps practices and experience in CI tools.
• Experience in cloud-based services such as Azure or AWS.
• Some experience in non-functional testing, such as performance testing tools.
• It would be desirable to have some experience in financial industry and/or FinTech products.
