About the role

What this job involves: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Facilities Coordinator to join our team in Sydney! You’ll play a key role in the upkeep and management of the facilities, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Please not this role requires 100% on-site presence. A snapshot of the role:

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the facilities, including maintenance, vendor management, safety compliance, and guest services, all while working to enhance the overall workplace experience.
  • Conduct thorough routine inspections of all assigned buildings and spaces, ensuring that facilities are in excellent condition and meet operational standards.
  • Manage and prioritise facilities-related service requests through our internal ticketing system, Jira Service Desk and Corrigo.
  • Collaborate with the Guest Services and event teams to coordinate and execute facilities management tasks for in-office events and gatherings, ensuring smooth operations and an enhanced workplace experience for staff and visitors.
  • Assist in preparing purchase orders, budgetary requests, analysis, and reporting to ensure effective financial management of the facilities.
  • Maintain clear and frequent communication with the internal team and external stakeholders regarding facilities activities and updates.

  • Strong facilities management experience or a technical background in building systems and maintenance.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in facilities management software and G-Suite tools; experience with Atlassian products is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of building systems and maintenance procedures, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
  • Ability to interpret and work from building plans, operating instructions, and maintenance schedules.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Floor Fire Warden certification is desired, or a willingness to be trained.
