About the role
**About the Role **
As a junior visual designer in the Zeller Brand Design team, you will help develop the concept and design of our brand, while working on websites, emails, social posts, illustration, image direction, videos, animations, printed collateral, packaging, ads, merch, and office templates. There are also occasional opportunities to be involved in Product Design and Hardware Design.
This is a full time role located in our Melbourne office, with up to one work-from-home day each week.
**What you’ll do ** In this role, your growth as a designer will be important to the success of the Brand Design team, and you will be supported to do your best work by Zeller’s other, highly experienced, designers.
The role includes: • Helping to form briefs for all kinds of items to be designed. • Conducting research into relevant design benchmarks and trends. • Preparing, developing and communicating design options. • Reviewing and workshopping ideas with the design and marketing teams. • Preparing finished design artwork and instructions for production. • Liaising with others to implement designs across Zeller properties.
About You
Your Technical Skills & Experience The successful candidate will: • Hold a University Degree in Communication Design • Be confident using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (PS, ID, AI) • Provide an impressive portfolio website link or PDF with their application • Be located in Melbourne and not require sponsorship • Be excited to work around other designers in our CBD office at least 4 days each week If you do not satisfy any one of these requirements do not apply, you will not be considered.
