About the role

About the Team Deloitte has one of the largest numbers of Workday practitioners and implementations and client qualifications. Through organic growth and recent acquisitions, our Workday practice continues to grow at an exponential rate to meet increasing client demands in the Asia-Pacific region. Join an organisation renowned in this space and grow your career to exponential heights!   About the Role Deloitte’s HR Transformation (HRT) team are currently seeking an experienced Workday HCM Functional Consultant, specialising in one or more modules of Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Security or Learning to join our Consulting team in Sydney/Melbourne.   As a Workday Functional Senior Consultant within Deloitte’s HRT practice, you will be responsible for leading and delivering functional elements of Workday engagements across various industry sectors. Ideally you will have the following: 

  • Workday Core HCM certification
  • A minimum of 2 full Workday implementation lifecycle experience
  • Experience in all project phases, from Design through to Deploy
  • Strong practical experience in functional configuration in one or more module of Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Security or Learning
  • Experience with Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

About you The successful candidate will ideally have the following experience:

  • A strong understanding of the relationship between Core HCM and other Workday modules
  • Preferred experience with the HR function and HR processes and associated leading practices
  • Ability to guide a client through decision making
  • Strong Business Analysis and requirements gathering experience

Work you’ll do As a Workday Functional Senior Consultant, you should expect to be involved in the following:

  • Gathering business requirements and discussing business shortcoming with various clients
  • Build consensus around business processes and design and evaluating current systems and structures
  • Communication of Workday capabilities and discussing the current systems with the staff and observing systems at all levels of organisation
  • Developing strategies and plans to achieve customer satisfaction and efficient use of business’s resources
  • Recommending proposals to revise the methods and procedures and redefine job functions.
  • Consistent and ongoing interaction with client subject matter experts
  • Configuration of Workday application

    Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand the business and advise on Human Resource matters

    Design and implement People and Culture projects to support the organization’s goals, and meet compliance requirements
