What does a Hydraulic Engineer in Buildings do?
- Develop designs for the construction, operation and maintenance of machines and mechanical systems for building and built environment projects
- Engaging with stakeholders such as authorities, clients (external and internal), suppliers and project team members
- Work with architects, structural engineers and other design professionals to shape the buildings of the future
- Applying first principles thinking to develop code compliant designs.
- Create drawings and schematics using REVIT, 3D modelling, BIM and other industry software
- Undertaking site-based investigations and construction phase site visits for a "start to finish" experience
- Working on a variety of projects concurrently
