Due to continue and rapid growth, are looking for a Business Data Governance Analyst to join our team here at Stryker. ideally based in Sydney, but we would consider applicants Australia wide. In this role, you will help drive the company’s data governance strategy, ensuring the highest level of data quality, accuracy, and compliance across the business. This role will focus on maintaining high standards across inventory, customer, supplier, and employee data while supporting teams with insights, training, and solutions.
The main duties will include:
- Ensure daily clearance of unprocessed orders and discrepancies.
- Keep our transactional data accurate and up to date.
- Support teams on best practices and processes.
- Be a go-to expert on our ERP system (JDE) and related business processes.
Key responsibilities: Business Data Integrity
Monitor and resolve key data issues (Work Orders, Sales Orders, GL discrepancies, and more).
Identify opportunities to improve processes and prevent errors.
Support root cause analysis and share knowledge across team.
Partner with IS on resolving new or complex issues. Data Governance
Maintain high-quality data across Customer, Supplier, and Employee domains.
Help develop tools and reports to monitor data health.
Support data quality initiatives like profiling, cleansing, and certification.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business data governance, data management, or related field.
- Knowledge of data governance principles, practices, and technologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of business processes and quality systems
