About the role

Job description

As a Mako Product Specialist at Stryker, you will help transform orthopedic surgeries around the world and help us achieve our mission of making healthcare better. In this role, you’ll be a resident expert in everything concerning the Mako robot – our newest product used in robotic-arm assisted surgery.

What you will do

  • Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and Clinical/Technical support in the operation of Mako robot and its associated equipment and instruments to insure ideal placement and precision.
  • Provide product feedback to Stryker engineers to enhance product design.
  • Build professional relationships with healthcare staff and surgeons.
  • Create detailed case reports and resolve product-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support account growth.
  • Obtain purchase orders for products consumed during surgical procedures and maintains and tracks consigned inventories of company's products.
  • Partner with other cross functional teams in selling the clinical benefits of the company’s products, drive continuous account growth and case volume.

What you need Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree OR Associate’s Degree or Medical Certification (i.e. CST, PT, CPT, etc.) with minimum 1 years of professional and/or related experience
  • Minimum 1-year relevant work experience in a sales and/or technical environment (medical, pharmaceutical, healthcare industry)

Preferred:

  • Experience with clinical training and education programs
