About the role

The Opportunity   We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented Analyst to join Stockland’s Investor Relations team. In this role, you will provide accurate and timely analysis of internal, competitor, and external reports and data sets to ensure Stockland’s financial and investment performance is well understood by senior internal and external stakeholders.   This role is based at our Sydney head office and offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and development within a collaborative team.   Key Responsibilities include:  

  • **Data Analysis: **Undertake analysis of internal and external data to assist stakeholders in evaluating Stockland’s operational and financial performance.
  • **Peer Analysis: **Assist in analysing peers’ financial and operational metrics and assessing the implications for Stockland of transactions, debt/equity raisings, and other corporate activities across the A-REIT sector.
  • **Reporting: **Prepare regular updates for senior internal stakeholders regarding investor/analyst perceptions of Stockland, macroeconomic and equity market conditions, peer announcements, and the performance of Stockland securities.
  • **Collaboration: **Partner with different functions within the CFO Group to continuously improve existing practices.
  • **Presentations: **Assist in the preparation of presentations and other materials for annual and interim results, quarterly updates, and ad hoc investor presentations/roadshows.
  • **Stakeholder Engagement: **Assist in dealing with analyst and investor queries and attending investor meetings.
  • **Relationship Building: **Partner with key internal customers and stakeholders to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • **Research Analysis: **Assist in analysing and reviewing sell-side research and preparing broker consensus views on Stockland and its peers.

  About You   This role is suitable for someone proactive with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be a proactive individual with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships. To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills, qualifications, and experience:  

  • **Experience: **1-3 years of experience in a real estate, professional services, or investment banking environment. Proven analytical experience in financial modelling, data analysis, and business performance.
  • **Skills: **Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, relationship management, and the ability to excel under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • **Qualifications: **Relevant tertiary qualification in a Commerce or Property-related field.
  • **Technical Proficiency: **Sound MS Excel skills and some experience in preparing MS PowerPoint presentations.
  • **Attention to Detail: **Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a personal commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • **Confidentiality: **Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information in a listed company environment.
