What your days might look like
As our Communications Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing strategic and creative PR campaigns and activities that position Employment Hero as the global authority on employment. From supporting media relations to crafting compelling content and engaging with our customers and partners, this role is perfect for a communications professional ready to take the next step in their career.
As our Communications Specialist, you’ll:
Support media relations and stakeholder engagement, assisting with press releases, media pitches, and external communications efforts.
Develop content such as blog posts, talking points for presentations and speaking engagements and more
Create and manage a database of customers for media opportunities
Engage with customers and partners as required for media opportunities
Source and support proactive media relations efforts
Assist and review briefing books in collaboration with our agency
Own and support our media measurement globally, coordinating report on a weekly and monthly basis, owning the relationship with external media monitoring providers and coordinating actions between our providers and internal stakeholders
Work with our internal agency, the Hero Collective, to develop visual collateral upon request
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including PR agencies and other Heroes from our Marketing team
What you will bring
3-4 years of experience in a communications role within a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Solid writing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and impactful content
Curiosity, are a team-player and can build supportive and collaborative relationships.
Strong project management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and execute high-quality work under pressure.
Comfortable working in a remote-first environment, with the ability to build relationships, drive engagement, and collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
