About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Marketing Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll be a key part of the game studio team, engage with players, and implement marketing strategies to attract new players to The Sims FreePlay. You will preferably have experience with mobile or live service games, a hands-on approach, a creative mindset, and the passion to deliver the best possible experience for players and the community.     **Responsibilities **   

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of The Sims, aligning marketing efforts with product and business goals.
  • Create marketing strategies based on player insights and best practices to drive growth and engagement for live service games.
  • Lead go-to-market planning, activation, and reporting, ensuring completion of operational plans and submissions.
  • Manage player communication channels, including in-app events, ASO, inbox messaging, blogs, social media, collaborations, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the marketing artist to produce content that aligns with brand guidelines and strategies.
  • Partner with the community manager to develop strategies that enhance engagement and foster a sense of belonging, incorporating player feedback.
  • Work with franchise and business teams to identify opportunities for deeper player engagement and growth.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to shape marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

  Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, ideally within the gaming, entertainment, or B2C app space.
  • Experience in copywriting and content creation. 
  •  The ability to craft engaging and creative content and campaigns 
  •  Experience marketing games/apps on Apple and Google storefronts 
  •  Experience with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, etc. 
  •  Proficient in using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and community engagement
