About the role
About the role Due to ongoing success and growth, we are seeking self-motivated and professional private/business bankers to join an already high performing team. As a Private Banker, you will:
- Develop and grow your portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
- Provide clients with a full range of financial services, products and innovative solutions with a strong focus on wealth protection, creation, revenue growth and new client acquisition.
- Deliver our client value proposition of outstanding service, tailored advice and exclusive opportunities.
- Nurture a network of local internal and external contacts to assist with the origination of new business, new clients and the gathering of competitive intelligence.
- Understand and operate within relevant Regulatory and Compliance legislative/frameworks.
About you To be successful you will be innovative, driven, analytical, quick to learn and ambitious. In addition, you will have:
- Recent experience in a similar lending focused role from within Private Banking, Business Banking or similar
- Portfolio management experience
- Existing referral networks (this role will focus on first party lending so having your own referral networks is key to your success in this role)
- Experience in consumer/residential lending including complex lending and investments
- A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with high net worth or complex clients
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, or related field (desirable)
- RG146 (desirable)
