About the role
About the Role We are looking for a passionate and experienced Learning and Development Lead to help us deliver on our mission to create exceptional experiences for all our people. This role offers an opportunity to truly build people capability in a supportive environment. Reporting to the Executive Manager, People and Culture, you will partner with the business to develop a deep understanding of their respective needs, identifying areas of alignment, encouraging cross-functional collaboration for the purpose of advancing organisational capability whilst elevating the employee experience for our team of 1600 people.
Key Responsibilities
- **Create, evolve, design, and deliver new and/or existing organisational capability: **Develop products and content that are future focused, practical, tangible, and aligned to our operational environment and long-term strategic vision
- Strategic delivery: In conjunction with General Manager, People and Culture, deliver L&D strategic initiatives for the MCC
- Operational consistency and alignment: Remove complexity and improve efficiency across our business including the building of capability frameworks, capability uplift programs and development of diagnostic tools
- L&D support: Provide organisational capability and development support for employees and functional leaders driving seamless collaboration and communication
- Leadership in our DNA: Ensure MCC remains a leader in its investment in its people, building capability and employee engagement and ensuring the total learning and organisation development offering meets business and employee needs (both current and future requirements)
- Content delivery: Build learning content and deliver training when and where required
- L&D reporting: Produce L&D reports to drive meaningful change and to help determine future learning

What You Bring
- Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated Learning and Development experience, delivering strategic initiatives in a complex environment
- Strong Learning systems knowledge
