About the role

What will your typical day look like?   We are building out our Banking Solutions team and are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team! We have a deep understanding of the banking industry and have a breadth of complementary skills across banking strategy, operating model, business and solution architecture, engineering, and delivery. Within specialist teams, we go sector and domain deep while orchestrating the right people, process, and technology to make the future real. You will be exposed to the entire spectrum of opportunities from consulting and strategy to engineering and delivery. We are looking for someone with:

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in a client facing/advisory role in a Consulting environment
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience in banking strategy with a lens on technology
  • Strong experience in complex projects in one or more of the following capacities: solution designer, solution architect, technical business analyst
  • Experience in one or more of the following capability areas: core technology modernisation, customer onboarding, lending transformation, payment and cards management (NPP, BPAY, DD, APN).
  • A strong analytical mindset supported by a quick learning ability to deliver quality outcomes with pride.
  • Business storytelling, workshop design and facilitation and strong presentation skills
  • Superior communication and collaboration skills with experience communicating across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in business case development with a clear understanding of cost and benefit levers and providing comprehensive recommendations
  • Demonstrable experience in influencing key stakeholders and driving strategic outcomes
  • Experience in developing formal reports and presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deconstruct complex problems and ideas into simplified, structured solutions
  • A drive to challenge the status quo to provide clarity and improve the overall outcomes for our clients.
  • A natural flair for teamwork, proactivity, with willingness to get your hands dirty and get things done and values success of the team.
  • An understanding of banking technologies including cloud offerings (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or domain-based integration
  • One or more certifications in Cloud solution Architect or/and BIAN is highly desirable
