About the role
About The Position
The Senior Marketing Coordinator is part of the Business Partners, Experience team, responsible for overseeing various projects that promote RMIT products and initiatives. This role serves as the primary point of contact for specific non-executive stakeholders and is tasked with driving and coordinating integrated marketing, recruitment, and digital strategies to support the priorities of RMIT’s colleges. To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
- Experience in all aspects of marketing in a large corporate or institutional setting, preferably in the tertiary education sector (TAFE/dual sector education experience preferred, but not necessary)
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management
- Ability to tailor strategies to meet specific objectives and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to provide targeted information to future students and stakeholders
- Proven ability to work autonomously, and to collaborate closely with team members and extended marketing teams in the University to support key objectives, and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships both inside and outside the University;
- Demonstrated understanding about the role of marketing and student recruitment in a tertiary education environment
- Demonstrated high-level computer skills and experience using databases, Internet and design software.
