About the role
DESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Transfer Pricing team in Australia to support the Amazon Web Services business across the Asia Pacific region.
RESPONSIBILITIES End-to-end development, implementation and monitoring of transfer pricing policies, including:
- Supporting business launches and restructurings, developing new TP policies, financial modelling and business/asset valuations
- Supporting the implementation of new TP policies, preparation of inter-company agreements, monitoring TP outcomes against policy
- Contributing to and reviewing TP documentation, benchmarking and regulatory filings
- Supporting transfer pricing audits and APAs
- Driving process improvement initiatives in the transfer pricing operations and compliance processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to extract, analyse, and review data and make appropriate recommendations
- Excellent project management, organisational, analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree and/or relevant professional qualification
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Ability to extract, analyse, and review data and make appropriate recommendations - Excellent project management, organisational, analytical, technical and problem-solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree - Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
