About the role
The Opportunity We have a fantastic opportunity for an Intermediate Auditor to join our Audit & Assurance division. In this role, you will be exposed to a varied client base across a wide range of industries, giving you the chance to broaden your technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities: - Work in a team to undertake external audit engagements across a range of industries and sizes. - Complete planning sections of audit files without supervision. - Provide mentorship and guidance to our undergraduate and graduate Auditors. - Assess and analyse financial statements, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations - Liaise with clients and build strong relationships. - Provide recommendations to clients after understanding and assessing internal controls. - Complete assigned work in a timely manner with little to no review points.
About You - Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree. - Have commenced the Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. - 1+ years External Audit experience. - Broad industry experience, including experience on client engagement in the following industries: Mining, Manufacturing, Schools, Biotech, Financial Services, Technology, Not-for-profits - Knowledge of the following software: Caseware, Extractly.ai, Accuri, Cradle Accounting, Xero, Sage, Business Central, SAP. - Ability to demonstrate sound technical knowledge. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
