**THE ROLE ** We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to spearhead sales growth for Shippit, through identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities with mid-market/enterprise retailers. You will build and manage a robust sales pipeline, cultivate strong relationships, and contribute to Shippit’s long-term business growth
DAY TO DAY
- Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring a strong and sustainable pipeline.
- Increase Shippit’s presence among mid-market and enterprise retail in ANZ.
- Position Shippit's SaaS solutions and logistics expertise to merchants across key verticals, including retail and logistics/freight operations.
- Lead commercial discussions, craft compelling proposals, and secure long-term contracts with prospective clients.
- Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to refine go-to-market strategies and customer engagement.
- Stay up to date with logistics and fleet management trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting through CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and targets..
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 3-5 years quota-carrying, mid-market/enterprise sales experience as an Account Executive in SaaS. Demonstrated success in selling software solutions to logistics, freight and operations stakeholders a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the retail and eCommerce industry, including logistics and fulfilment challenge.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills focused on value and differentiation.
- Team Collaboration: Positive energy and a collaborative team player.
- Complex Sales Management: Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated meticulousness in managing accounts and processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, Linkedin SalesNav and Salesforce CRM.
- Network: Strong network within the retail, eCommerce and logistics sectors
