About the role

Position Summary:

The Recording Supervisor is responsible for executing data collection projects using Appen’s data collection systems, software and equipment. The Recording Supervisor will instruct the on-site participant based on project-specific needs and supervise the data collection. Some communication with potential participants will also be required (sometimes via email and sometimes via phone).

Responsibilities:

- Use Appen’s data collection tools to execute data collection projects of various types. - Maintain project trackers and monitor key project metrics. - Report feedback or issues to Data Collection lead. - Respond to participant queries. - Set up payments for data collection participants. - Deliver project objectives within scope, timeline, and budget. - Follow quality management processes and implement corrective measures when necessary. - Communicate with all stakeholders in a timely, clear, and concise manner. - Adapt to changing project needs and expectations. - Follow strict confidentiality protocols regarding project and participant details, as well as other sensitive information. - Be a proactive team member, contributing solutions and assisting others as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

-  Computer literate and able to pick up new tools and systems quickly and with accuracy.
- Service orientated approach. \* Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
-  Attention to detail. \* Commitment to quality (being able to follow quality management processes)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools - Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proficiency in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with audio recording equipment and software desirable but not required.
- Bi-lingual in a second language is a bonus
