Why JB Hi-Fi
The business was established in 1974 by Mr. John Barbuto (JB), trading from a single store in East Keilor, Victoria. He had one simple philosophy: to deliver a specialist range of Hi-Fi and recorded music at Australia's lowest prices.
The business was sold in 1983 and by 1999 another nine stores were opened.
In July 2000 JB Hi-Fi was purchased by private equity bankers and senior management with the aim of taking the successful model nationally.
In October 2003, JB Hi-Fi was floated on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Now, maintaining Barbuto's original philosophy, JB is one of Australasia's fastest growing and largest retailer of home entertainment.
In July 2004, JB bought the Queensland Clive Anthony chain of stores which sell consumer electronics, white goods, cooking appliances and air-conditioning.

About the role
Job Description
As a Games Sales Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued sales growth of the Games department, ensuring that company objectives are effectively executed within your area of responsibility, including:
- Assisting in merchandising across the range of product categories (point of sale material placement, ticket writing etc) withing the store
- Selling the complete product range to ensure each customer gets the best JB solution to their needs
- Helping drive JB’s customer service and sales process standards and expectations
Qualifications
- You enjoy working in a casual and fun atmosphere, have proven retail experience and a broad knowledge of Games
- Proven customer service experience and background in cash handling, including the use of EFTPOS facilities (preferably electronic POS systems), and the ability to sell retail products and merchandise
- You must be able to work both independently and as part of our consolidated team, and have the ability to work under pressure

Ensure the top of the sales pipeline is adequately filled with quality leads

Generate new sales opportunities and move them through the funnel by drafting outreach messages and sequences, and identifying the needs of customers
