About the role
What this job involves: We’re looking for an Accountant to join our Valuation Advisory team. In the role, you will support the Finance Business Partner and business with key processes and reporting as required including forecasts, business performance reporting, commissions, accounting queries and other finance deliverables.
A snapshot of the role:
- Oversee key system interface processes from operational to finance systems and performing as required
- Supporting the business and shared services team with finance queries and guidance associated with travel and entertainment, commissions, AP, AR and banking queries
- Ensure monthly close processes, monthly accrual and other journals are submitted on time
- Oversee coordination of client cheque payment process, receipting and reconciliation of bank statements
- Overseeing business accounts payable processes ensuring external costs are being appropriately allocated and recognised in the business
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of key business activity reports – daily and weekly, enabling the business to maximise operational efficiency

- Degree qualified in Accounting/Business
- CPA/CA or equivalent qualifications or in the process of completion
- At least 3 years plus experience in a corporate accounting environment
