About the role
We’re on the lookout for a driven and strategic Business Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of clients and agencies. Manage new and existing client relationships, ensure campaign performance, and drive revenue growth by understanding client needs and proposing solutions. Key to this role will be a combination of proactive sales conversations with existing clients, as well as instigating new partnerships for the business. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to business management.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, serving as the main point of contact for all client inquiries and requests.
- Understand client business objectives and advertising goals.
- Proactively address client needs and concerns, ensuring satisfaction.
- Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with clients to assess satisfaction levels, identify new opportunities, and address any concerns.
Strategic Account Growth and Revenue Generation
- Develop and implement account plans and strategies to meet sales targets, drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing business to maximize revenue.
Campaign Management
- Develop and implement advertising strategies and campaigns to meet client objectives.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports to clients.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and deliver exceptional results for clients
- Provide feedback and insights to improve internal processes and services.
Revenue Pipeline Management
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on account performance to senior management.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
Issue Resolution and Client Support
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that client needs are met and expectations are exceeded at all times.
Required Skills
- Adaptable and resilient in the face of challenges, with a positive and solution-oriented mindset.
- 4+ years experience in sales, advertising, account management, or business development, within out-of-home and/or digital platforms.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute account plans.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and objectives.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (including CRM software like Salesforce) and other relevant tools.
