About the Role As a Senior People Partner (HR Business Partner), you’ll be a strategic partner who will help your client group navigate and solve complex problems. You’ll work closely with the Group’s leadership team to drive forward strategic initiatives aligned to Canva’s crazy big goals.

You’ll be a champion of Canva’s values, working closely with the leadership team and their leads to provide hands-on strategic input and advice on key priorities such as team effectiveness, growth and impact, leadership development, talent management, organisation design, workforce planning and cultivating culture.

You’ll thrive in a fast-moving, fluid environment, and be passionate about supporting teams to scale effectively. You’ll be an experienced HR enabler who thinks strategically, but is also prepared to roll up your sleeves and get things done. You know that meeting the business where it's at, building exceptional foundations and positive relationships is the key to ensuring those high impact, highly strategic pieces of work land with positive impact at scale.

You’ll play a key role in shaping and scaling our people strategy while supporting leaders through change. What you’ll do As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. We move fast here at Canva, and this role will certainly keep you on your toes, but we like to think that’s all part of the fun. You’ll add value through: - Partnering closely with the leadership team, of your client group, to develop and execute strategic People initiatives. - Positioning yourself as a strategic member of your client group leadership teams and a trusted advisor to their leads; guiding and coaching leaders on the full gamut of People challenges and opportunities. - Developing a deep understanding of the business opportunities and challenges we’re working to solve for and delivering tailored people strategies and solutions. - Providing thought leadership and coaching Leads through rapid organisational change and growth. - Partnering with HR COEs to bring their expertise to help solve business challenges or accelerate opportunities whilst also delivering cyclical HR programs, such as performance, growth, pulse surveys and reward reviews. - Collaborating with the broader People Partnering and People team to leverage the collective expertise to shape Canva wide opportunities and share the opportunities to learn from each other in how to drive operational excellence.

You’re probably a match if you   - Act as a strategic thought partner, synthesising complex information to create high-impact HR solutions. - Coach and support leadership teams, helping them navigate organisational growth and transformation - See things through from strategy to execution, ensuring HR strategic thinking translates to initiatives which drive meaningful impact - Drive change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adaptation to new structures, processes, and ways of working - Bring deep emotional intelligence, resilience, and empathy, allowing you to handle challenges with confidence. - Manage multiple priorities with exceptional organisation and judgment in a fast-moving environment. - Collaborate and influence senior leaders, team leads, and HR partners to align people strategies with business goals. - Leverage expertise across HR programs, including performance management, leadership development, and organisational design. - Champion innovation in HR, continuously evolving our approach to support an exceptional workplace and culture.
