About the role

Overview The BHRIGHT Centre Coordinator will work closely with BHRIGHT’s director/s to help lead the Centre. Some activities of the role may include managing the operations of RMIT’s Business and Human Rights Centre, communication with all internal and external stakeholders, coordinate the leadership team, and support the director/s to develop new partnerships, manage existing ones, oversee the Centre’s website and communications channels, conduct outreach and assist in event management. 

The role may be involved in broader College and external organizations’ initiatives, and project management of specific projects of importance to BHRIGHT.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum:

1.    Highly developed interpersonal and strong communication skills. 2.    Demonstrated project management skills. 3.    Demonstrated ability to manage engagement and communications activities. 4.    Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 5.    Demonstrated ability to use digital communications tools and platforms, including website analytics and social media such as LinkedIn, Blogs, etc.   6.    Experience applying for and/or managing grants. Qualifications -    A relevant qualification in project/organisational management, Diploma or Bachelor. -    A familiarity with human rights or prior experience working with academics or university environment is desirable.
