About the Opportunity The Marketing team is responsible for implementing the strategic marketing plan and program across RACV’s full suite of products and services – Motor, Home, Leisure and Membership. This includes communication and campaign planning, media strategy development / optimisation and implementation of an effective integrated marketing program across the full channel mix. Reporting to the Marketing Manager - Home, the Marketing Consultant is integral to the team, implementing the most optimal mix of tools and tactics to address plan objectives and drive business outcomes including ATL, performance marketing, SEO, social, 1:1 (including lifecycle programs) and owned channel activations. Come along for a new journey Success in this role requires the skills, capabilities and experience to navigate through the organisation and the Membership and Marketing team to deliver clear value to the business including budget management, reporting, effectiveness and optimisation to agreed targets. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
- Work closely with the Planning & Performance team to understand business and marketing objectives and opportunities, target audiences, customer insights and propositions, bringing this to life via a well-planned and continuously optimised go to market program
- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing programs, product launches / go-to-market, seasonal campaigns, promotional activities and always-on campaigns
- Lead the implementation of campaigns and activities across owned and paid channels
- Undertake commercial and performance analysis of marketing activities, both during and post, to identify insights and optimise as required
- Work with the Corporate Communications and Social team to lead the execution of the content, bringing to life product propositions through engaging visual content
Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything. You’ll come with:
- 3+ years’ experience in campaign management across digital channels including email, search and social
- Tertiary qualification in marketing or other business-related field
- Experience in consumer marketing, preferably across digital products/platforms
- Have managed agencies in the past and understands the creative development process
- Demonstrable experience in campaign planning and execution across paid and owned channels to deliver expected results
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills for data analysis, insights, reporting and budget management
- Sound communication skills both verbal and written with a proven ability to translate technical information into effective and meaningful customer-facing communication
- Customer-focused, knows what best practice and engaging creative/comms looks like
- Adept with Microsoft including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong presentation skills
- Good project management skills and attention to detail
- Displays sound judgment and takes a common-sense approach
- A curious mind that learns quickly and values continuous improvement
- Works effectively within a team and is an active contributor
