About the role
The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for driving growth in distribution, volume, profitability, and brand experience across contracted customers within their designated territory. You’ll also play a key role in identifying and recruiting new accounts, negotiating contracts aligned with budgeted KPIs and commercial objectives. This role works across the Asahi Lifestyle Beverages portfolio within the Away From Home channel, offering the opportunity to build strong customer partnerships and bring iconic brands to life in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your territory will cover Canberra and the Snowy Mountains. Key Accountabilities
- Achieve financial sales and execution targets through implementing and executing OTG game plan with contracted customers.
- Sell in business initiatives and agreed activities.
- Maximise ROI on spend and initiatives, ensuring initiatives are executed in accordance with agreed terms.
- Identify new business opportunities in territory and support B/C state new business opportunities identified by AFH Growth North and SSMs and ensure these are captured in salesforce.
- Collaborates with Regional Sales Manager and/or Field Team, to effectively onboard and transition new business customers to Territory Managers
- Build effective long-term relationships with customers by understanding their key business drivers & requirements.
- Maximise time spent with customers in up sell, cross sell and brand building by effectively leveraging Trade spend.
