About the role
What you'll do
Are you a recent graduate with an actuarial background and strong skills in Python and SQL? We’re looking for a Insurance Pricing Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will help us drive pricing decisions through clear data analysis and practical insights.
Your responsibilities include:
- Analyse Pricing and claims Data: Use Python and SQL to build models and extract trends from pricing and claims data.
- Develop Pricing Models: Work closely with our insurance product and actuarial experts to develop and refine models that support our Insurance pricing strategies.
- Prepare Reports: Create clear, actionable reports and dashboards to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accurate and used effectively across the business.
- Action Continuous Improvement: Look for ways to optimise our processes and improve data quality.
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- A recent degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and a practical approach to solving problems.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a passion for data analysis and building detailed reports and charts.
- Basic understanding of pricing models and actuarial concepts with respect to general insurance.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain data insights clearly.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude
