Why Vanguard Australia
Since our founding in 1975, helping investors achieve their goals has been our main reason for existence. At Vanguard, we’re built differently. Vanguard is investor-owned, meaning the fund shareholders own the funds, which in turn own Vanguard. When you’re surrounded by people who care about the same things, things tend to fall into place.
With no other parties to answer to and therefore no conflicting loyalties, we make every decision—including keeping investing costs as low as possible—with your needs in mind. Because of our unique structure, your goals align with our goals. Whether you’re investing for your first house, college for your kids, or a comfortable retirement, you can be confident we’re on your side. That’s the value of ownership!
About the role
At Vanguard, our core purpose is simple- to take a stand for all investors, to treat them fairly and to give them the best chance for investment success. We strive to create an environment that supports inclusion, cultivating difference and equality. These core values are lived at the level of our crew, clients and the communities we serve worldwide.
Today, Vanguard is one of the world’s largest investment management companies, serving more than 50 million investors worldwide. For more than 25 years Vanguard Australia has been supporting individual investors, financial advisers, and superannuation members to achieve their long-term financial goals.
Invest in your success with the IMG Graduate Program Australia is one of three major trading and portfolio management hubs for Vanguard globally. The investment management group is comprised of investment strategists, portfolio managers, traders, risk managers, and global shared services experts who are responsible for portfolio management, trading and research across the Asia Pacific region.
Graduates in the IMG program will experience a comprehensive approach to investing that may include exposure to a range of teams such as: EIG (Equity Investment Group), FIG (Fixed Income Group), ISG (Investment Strategy Group) and IMFR (Investment Management & Finance Risk). Global collaboration, industry and economic insights and risk-controlled investment management is at the heart of IMG as we support our clients to achieve their investment goals. Following the completion of the program participants will have the opportunity to launch into a permanent role.
