About the role
What to Expect
The Project Coordinator within the Tesla Energy Industrial Deployment team is responsible for coordination of tasks on a project-by-project basis and provide an aggregation of tasks or follow ups across the whole team. Tesla’s Deployment team oversees and deploys the Megapack sites within the APAC Region meaning organization and prioritization is key.
Part of our team’s mission is to execute contracts on time and within budget, while minimizing risk to our customers and the company. You will be part of sharing lessons learnt on projects in APAC with Deployment teams across the globe, ensuring we are continuously improving. What You’ll Do
- Support the team for project ownership, collation, and execution of all active projects.
- Support Project Managers with intent to deliver in line with agreed milestones and metrics as set out contractually and internally.
- General coordination of spare parts, logistics etc.
- Ownership and coordination of auxiliary tasks such as site communications, additional plant equipment etc.
- Assist and participate in the installation, commissioning, or other works as required.
- Liaise with teams to issue all appropriate paperwork (e.g., contracts, terms of agreement, and invoices)
- Purchasing regarding raising POs, onboarding suppliers, retrieving quotes etc
- Ensure internal systems are up to date with regards to project details and other relevant information
- Maintain risk registers for projects and work with Project Management leadership to communicate risks and eliminate setbacks.
- Providing programs/schedules for the coordination of site activities
- Assist in collation and creation of Project Documentation such as QA, as built, Hold point test Reports etc.
What You’ll Bring
- 2 + years of experience in similar role
- Basic understanding of Projects and Construction activities
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and work streams, proven track record of client-facing communication and flexible time-management with changing priorities.
- High level of technical and non-technical communication proficiency is required.
- Knowledge of workplace Health, Safety, electrical, and grid regulations
- Flexibility to use internal and external software systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Schedule, AutoCAD and/or Primavera, preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically.
