Are you an experienced paralegal looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a talented Senior Paralegal to join our team at JLL working with our client Australia Post!
As a Senior Paralegal, you'll manage and enable a team while working collaboratively with the National Portfolio Manager, Paralegal, Leasing, Lease Administration and Property Management Teams, client stakeholders, and external legal providers. Your primary focus will be coordinating the negotiation and execution of lease documents for our national ATM and branch network.
**An overview of the role: **
- Manage and support a team of two Paralegals, ensuring compliance with processes and timely turnaround of lease documentation
- Monitor, manage, and assist in delivering overall service provided by direct reports
- Oversee high-risk and critical project instructions, handling those requiring senior involvement
- Certify documents for client execution, confirming accuracy and compliance with policies
- Screen and manage escalations from direct reports, providing clear summaries and recommendations
- Assist with reporting, analysis, and attend meetings as required
- Manage HR considerations for direct reports, including performance management and leave management
- Build relationships with major landlord contacts and facilitate negotiations of national landlord/ANZ precedent lease documents
- Support a culture of innovation and implement process improvements
- Assist the National Portfolio Manager with tasks and reporting as needed

- Legal or property qualifications and/or experience within a firm or retail 'landlord/tenant' organisation
- Demonstrated understanding of leases or contracts, ideally gained in the property or legal industry
- Proven managerial experience of at least two years
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate data
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills
- Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting contracts and leases
- Ability to work efficiently under tight operational and financial deadlines
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace and manage change
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
