About the role
Role Overview Key Responsibilities include:
- Define and execute the venture’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of customer obsession, innovation and excellence.
- Stay hands-on with coding, architecture design, and system implementation where needed.
- Drive the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance technology solutions.
- Oversee DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and security best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product, operations, and business teams to deliver value-driven technology solutions.
- Keep up with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the company.
Experience The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications and expertise:
- Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar leadership role in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong empathy and experience with products serving our target customers – parents with children 5-14.
- Expertise in full stack technology (Flutter, PostgreSQL, GraphQL APIs, Azure)
- Hands-on experience with coding, system architecture, and infrastructure.
- Track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
- Experience in scaling technology for high-growth businesses.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Project administration and managing high performing teams
