Your Team Within Retail Banking Services (RBS) the Digital Domain drives the strategy and delivery behind CBA’s market leading CommBank app, and its desktop asset Netbank, delivering an integral service and brilliant experiences to over nine million digitally active customers.
Your impact and contribution As the Crew Lead for Core Experiences, you will be a product strategist, digital thought leader, methodical experimenter, and a senior leader who is driven by a desire to create exceptional digital experiences.
You’ll use the latest technology to build digital experiences and features that determine how millions of people access, understand, manage and invest their money all while strengthening their relationship with CommBank.
Drawing from your strong digital delivery experience, you’re constantly pushing the boundaries to help deliver outcomes that fundamentally shift the customer experience and unlock more value. Your passion for outstanding user experience and ability to solve complex problems is key to developing high quality solutions.
You have a high tolerance for complexity and ambiguity coupled with the resilience and tenacity to see things through. You have experience working in a fast paced, agile environment and use leading practices with an appreciation for the value of continuous delivery and user testing.

We’re interested in hearing from an experienced senior leader with relevant skills and experience including:
- Proven record of leading and owning a breadth of capability and experiences, from Navigation, to Core Banking, to Design Systems and AI experiences. You are able to constantly juggle the breadth of digital priorities for your crew while continuously providing context and clarity to your cross-functional squads.
- Proven expertise designing, developing and delivering at scale digital experiences, leveraging the best practices for creating outstanding customer and commercial outcomes.
- Ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders and teams to deliver your product vision, navigating competing interests and balancing the needs of customers, the business, and technical teams.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform decision-making with exceptional communication skills.
- A track record building, leading and mentor high performing digital teams who leads by example, seeing through complexity to drive simpler, and better customer experiences.
- Previous experience working in an agile test and learn environment in a leadership role. You are constantly thinking creatively and breaking boundaries to solve complex problems.
