About The Role
As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to ensure that our teams continue to deliver more best-in-breed products that advance the way we pay, bank and invest. You’ll work as part of a team in a scrum setting and must be a self- motivated, proactive, and out-of-the-box thinker.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to ensure that our teams continue to deliver more best-in-breed products that advance the way we pay, bank and invest. You’ll work as part of a team and will be self-motivated, proactive and innovative. You will work closely with our major banking clients to analyse and understand their requirements and business needs.
You Will Also
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
- Devise and modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired results
- Analyse business and user needs, complete documentation of requirements and translate into proper system requirement specifications
- Influence business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection and/or vendor selection
- Identify and document business strategies, objectives and drivers
- Analyse and document business processes and metrics and identify improvement opportunities
- Re-engineer processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency
- Assess, apply and projects the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients or stakeholders
- Write test plans and test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained
- Conduct a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests. Ensures changes made by programmers are correct
- Verify through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts.
What You Bring
- At least 6 years’ experience in a similar Technical BA role
- Recent experience with Credit Card System processes including issuing and authorisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to engage well with clients
- Proficiency in standards office software such as MS Office, Visio, MS Access etc
- Proficiency in industry-standard process methodologies such as Six Sigma, LEAN, ISO, CMM etc
- Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and customer service skills
