The opportunity We are looking for a hardworking, strategic, and commercially focused Risk & Compliance Manager to support our rapidly growing Financial Services and Benefits business. You will provide specialist expertise within an established Governance, Risk, and Compliance Team within MYOB that supports Australian and New Zealand operations. The successful candidate will act as a trusted adviser, demonstrating deep knowledge of key financial services regulatory obligations, which they apply with a strategic lens. You will make an impact by driving risk identification and compliance; operating with various teams and senior leadership to improve compliance and risk management and drive mitigation strategies to protect MYOB’s brand, reputation, and financial outcomes.

If you've got an affection for technology/software, combined with demonstrable influencing skills and a background in financial services compliance and risk, we'd be thrilled to have you come on-board to:

- Support Financial Services domain teams to achieve compliance with key obligations by design - Ensure business awareness, understanding and compliance with relevant financial services regulation including AML/CTF and AFSL compliance - Handle third party compliance obligations and risk associated with any partners supporting MYOB financial services products - Ensure implementation and monitoring of key contractual obligations on MYOB from partners, especially financial institutions - Assist in crafting, maintaining, and running a complete register of product/service risks and actively work with the business to help them mitigate and resolve in a prioritised manner - Investigate, monitor, and raise breaches, conflicts of interests, potential liabilities, and regulatory compliance issues - Handle compliance reports around regulatory and governance matters and changes impacting the business - Undertake and support execution of assurance/compliance related checks of risk controls and treatments within the business.
